It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Cora Chubbs announce her passing on July 17, 2025, at 11:25 am at the age of 81.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are companion Ellis Lavallée; children Blaine (Christina), Garry (Claudette), Roland (Shelley), and Angela (Gordon); grandchildren Mitchell, Shayne, Aj, Honlee, William, Donald, Alexia, Andrew, and Tomika; great-grandchildren Sawyer, Bo, Dani, Scarlett, Kevin, Jack, Charlie, and Ethan; brothers Boyd and Rodney; sisters Flora, Doris, Janet, Shirley, and Alice; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Predeceased by her parents Una Cribb and Gordon Chubbs; brothers Eric, Ted, and Winston; and her husband Donald Etheridge.

Friends and family may visit St. Christopher's Church on Saturday, July 19 as of noon. The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21 at 11 am ET with Reverand Francie Keats officiating. Interment to follow at Brador cemetery.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the first responders and the health care workers at the hospital in Blanc-Sablon, and to friends and family for their support.
