It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sylvia Kennedy (nee Hawkins) announce her passing on July 21, 2025 at the age of 74 years.
Sylvia will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, John; her children, Nicole (Rodney), Johnny (Amanda); grandchildren, Shayne, J.J. and Rylan; her brothers and sisters, and numerous other family members and friends.
Family and friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue in Corner Brook on Thursday, July 24, 2025 between the hours of 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm. A funeral service will take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home on the same day, at 3:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, in her memory.
