Obituary of Anna JEAN Daniels CARD OF THANKS
CARD OF THANKS
The family of Anna "Jean" Daniels would like to express our sincere gratitude to those who offered support, sent messages, delivered food, flowers, cards, phone calls and donations. Special thanks to those who contributed to the funeral service, namely Father Lee Lainey, Sacred Heart Folk Choir, Readers (Genevieve Quigley, Maxine Quigley, Tim Myrden). Also thanks to Bill and Genevieve Quigley for helping with the church and cemetary arrangements. Thank you to Laura Fillatre and staff of Fillatre's Funeral Home for their guidance and compassion.
Sincere thanks to the Staff of Bungalow #3 and Long Term Care, 3rd Floor South for their kindness and compassion during Mom's stay. At this time, we would like to include a few excerpts of words written by Jean's sister, Maxine Quigley: "Anyone who knew Jean, knew she was an avid golfer, was fit and nutrition conscious. She loved a good laugh and being with her immediate family, siblings and extended family. Jean was also an amazing cook. It was very difficult to see Jean's last years as she had to live them. We are sad to lose our wonderful sister but we are glad she is free of the bindings of dementia and ill health.''
I will close with comments from a friend which I thought was fitting -- "I know you and your family will celebrate her life and her release from a body that no longer held her soul."
Peter (Karen) and Joanne
