It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Louis King announce his passing on Sunday, August 17^th, 2025, at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing at the age of 93 years.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving wife of 32 years, Mary Veronica King; sons: Calvin ( Rose), Melvin, and Darren ( Roxanne); daughters: Lorraine(Harold) Hodder, Lynn (Glenn Hillard)Young, Doris Hillard, Leta Park, Joanne( Don) Hillard, Amanda ( Jerry Gilbert) King, Trina ( Scott) Hillard; stepchildren: Ron( Vanessa) King, Brian ( Donineka) King, Wanda( Craig) Noseworthy, Anna (Wayne) Gale

and many beautiful grandchildren, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Eddy was a logger who worked hard all of his life to provide for his family, his whistles and morning chats will be forever missed by those who had the pleasure of listening. He will be missed by all his special friends on the Ride For Ages Bus trips he frequently went on especially by Bus Driver Troy Morey.

He was predeceased by mother of his children, Gertrude King; daughter, Trudy; Derrick Noseworthy; granddaughters: Shannon King, Sheena Hodder, and Courtney King; grandson, Brandon King; son-in- laws: Roy Young, Karl Hillier and Chris Park.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, August 28th 7-9pm with Rosary at 8p.m in the St. Columcille Roman Catholic Church, St. Fintan's from where the Mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, August,29th at 11:00a.m with Father Joseph officating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, St. David's.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to MS Canada.

The family would like to say a special thank you to all the staff of the B.S.G.L.T.Care Centre for their kind care given to Eddy.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, 37 West Street, Stephenville Crossing.
