Obituary of Shirley Margaret Simms (CARD OF THANKS)
Note of Thanks
Family of
Shirley M. Simms
Thank you to the EMS 1st Responders, Emergency and ICU Hospital staff of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital for the care and compassion Shirley received while in their care.
To the ICU staff you were all amazing in your care of Shirley and also in your thoughtfulness and consideration to us (her family). The memories shared by past co-workers (now, her care givers), some who started their careers working with Shirley, brought us a smile and a laugh.
Your kindness will always be remembered. We are deeply touched by each and everyone of you.
Thank you to Fillatre’s Funeral Homes for all your guidance and professional service. We are so grateful to Mindy Holloway for all you have done for us during this difficult time.
Thank you Rev. Canon David Russell for your visits at the hospital and conducting the service.
We would like to express our thanks and sincere appreciation to everyone for the phone calls, messages, cards, flowers, food and visits at the funeral home.
It was such a pleasure to meet Shirley’s co-workers and put a face to the names of those she fondly talked about when she worked and then in her retirement. The honor guard by her co-workers at the service touched our hearts deeply. She would be proud.
Thank you to the organist Dennis Barnes and Funeral Director Keith Fillatre for your services.
The kindness and generosity shown to our family will always be remembered.
