It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Kendall announce his passing on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 97 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons: Brian (Maureen), Keith (Bernice) and Allan (Lynn); grandchildren: Scott, Matthew, Cheryl, Carol, Catherine and Erin; great-grandchildren: Keegan, Keira, Kelli, Jaylen and Kendall; great-great-grandchildren: Callum and Ophelia; brother Montfred; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Florence, parents Leo and Lucy; brothers Walter, Henry and Wilfred, sisters Margaret, Edith and Audrey. A special thank you to the staff at Mountainview Retirement Centre and the Doctors, nurses and staff of 5A Western Memorial Regional Hospital. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 28 at 11:00 a.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Canon Tanya White officiating. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or All Saints Anglican Church.
