Obituary of Harris Bruce Wolfrey

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harris Bruce Wolfrey announce his passing on September 4^th, 2025, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 51 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his mom: Ann Wolfrey; sister: Pauline Snow (Jason); step brother: Conrad Williams; step sister: Tammy Williams; nieces and nephews: Toby Williams (Chelsea), Johnny Williams, Rachel, Lily and Dawson; as well as many other relatives and a large circle of friends.

Harris was predeceased by his step father: Andrew Williams and best friend: Gary Thompson.

Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Saturday, September 6^th, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 7^th, 2025, from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, starting at 2:00 pm with Rev Nellie Thomas officiating.  Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed for those that cannot attend, on the “St. Andrew’s Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay” Facebook page.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Dr Cater and staff of the emergency department of the Labrador Health Centre, his social worker Cavelle, Karen and Jason Macdonald and Rev Nellie.

Thanks to all the friends and family who have visited, called, and brought food. Special thanks to Harris’s cousins: Amanda Shiwak, Peter Williams, Shelly Wolfrey and Blanch Wolfrey. Harris was well loved by so many people that we cannot name you all individually, but we want to send our thanks to everyone that knew and cared about him.
