I am so sad to hear of Mrs. Churchill’s passing. She was like another grandmother to me on Atlantic Ave. My oldest son asked about her just last week, referring to her as “Mrs. Turtle” as he did when he was little. She was the kindest and most hard working woman around.

Our sincere condolences are being sent to Shirley and Sandra on the passing of your lovely Mother.
We new them as parishiners at Oakland United Church when we lived ON Coronation Street and I visited them to
deliver mail from Church.
You Mom always invited me in and your Dad was pleased to have a chat as well after he had to stop attending services
he really missed going to church.
We have since moved to Nova Scotia and have enjoyed our life here since 2007.
We wanted you both to know how we remember our neighbors and friends in time of sadness and keep you in our thoughts.

My sincere condolences to all on the passing of this fine lady Mrs. Churchill. I have many fond memories and had many a snacks and cookies while spending time at her house as Eddie and I were friend growing up , and we also joined the navy and lived in Halifax. Many a times Eddie and I would be out in the camper, parked in the driveway studying for exams and the door would come open and we got our platter of cookies and treats for being good boys LOL.
RIP and Mrs Churchill and enjoy your reunion with Henry and Eddie and all who have passed before

She was a beautiful person whom I got to know when we built our home on Atlantic Avenue. I have a lot of memories of us sitting and chatting on her patio while enjoying the views of the city. She loved her garden and many a time I saw her with scissors making sure the grass was perfect under her hedges. Our girls and grandchildren were one of many that received knitted sweaters from her. She will be missed.
