It is with profound sadness we announce the heartbreaking passing of our beloved Corinne Beulah Alyward (nee Plowman). Corinne, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, will be cherished forever. Her courageous fight againstcancer ended Sunday, Sept 7 th 2025 at home while surrounded by family and friends.
Corinne was born Aug 29, 1969, in St Anthony, and made her life in Port Au Choix, NL where she raised her beautiful family. Corinnes love for her husband, children, grandchildren and her two fur-babies was known to all. Corinne was a strong community leader and enjoyed being involved in everything. She was a friend to everyone and made an everlasting impression on all those who knew her. Despite her young age of 56 years, Corinnes’ life was a testament of joy, laughter, love and living each moment to the fullest. Even in her toughest years, Corinne could be seen playing darts with her dart league, planning group events with family and friends, coaching volleyball and softball for the local teens in the area, and supporting Katie on every tournament she attended. Her heart was in Alberta as she watched her grandchildren grow, and Marcus and Martie become successful young adults. She will be remembered by her broomball ladies, past firettes, and her large circle of friends who help support her through her hardest times, especially Tiffany and Edmund who spend countless hours playing cards late into the night.
Corinnes short life was filled with adventure and excitement. She was the life of the party and her love for life was contagious. Always ready for the next adventure, Corinne was also the beautiful friend to hold your hand in the most difficult of times.
