It is with great sadness that the family of the late Josephine Bennett announce her passing on Sunday, September 7^th at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville at the age of 89.

Leaving to mourn her children: Neil (Marilyn), Alexander, Mary Watkins, Joan Keating (Gerard), Darlene Compagnon, Mark Alexander and James Alexander; grandchildren: Terra, Shane, Jason, Derek, Dominic, Patrick, Stacee, Stephen, Cheyanne and Jack; brothers: Churchill (Joan), Edward (Margaret); sisters: Amy (Bill), Vera (John) and Shirley (Fred).

She was predeceased by her husband Robert and her son Robert Bennett; brothers: Cornelius, James, Gordon, Rex, and William; sisters: Angie, Mary and Ida.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11^th, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 37 West Street, Stephenville Crossing. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 21st at 10:00am from the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church with Father Edmund Dantes officating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery, Shallop Cove.
