It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gideon James Lavallee announce his passing on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Western Long Term Care, Corner Brook at the age of 91 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Keith (Tonya), Elizabeth, David (Mary) and Craig (Karen); grandchildren: Candace, KJ, John David, Special granddaughter Wanda (Wayne), Andrew, Olivia, Delaney, Christopher, Jenna, Jasmine (Dylan) and Erica; great-grandchildren: Brody, Brandon, Ty, Merick and Maverick; sister-in-law Ann and Brendan Dicks; special friend Ben Wareham; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Ina, daughter Wanda and son Eric. A special thank you to the staff at Western Long Term Care, Shoreview Unit for their care over the past year. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue with Father Lee Lainey. Interment will take place at a later date.
