Anne Marie Moore

October 9, 1939 – September 10, 2025

Formerly of Corner Brook, NL

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Anne Marie Moore announces her unexpected passing on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, NL, at the age of 85 years.

She leaves to mourn many nephews and nieces in both Canada and the United States.

The youngest child of the late Michael and Mary Moore of Corner Brook, she was also pre-deceased by her siblings Margaret, Elizabeth, Mary Bertha, Gerard, John, William (Billie), James (Jimmie), Doreen, Barbara, Michael Donald (Mickey), Amy and Kevin.

She was also pre-deceased by her many dear furred and feathered friends who were a loving comfort over many years.

Anne Marie was an intelligent, strong and independent-minded woman.  In her youth, she lived and worked for a time in the United States and had many stories of her adventures during her time there.  She had informed opinions on many topics, ranging from life, to health, to politics, and faith, and loved a good conversation on any and all of these subjects.

In accordance with her instructions, she has already been cremated.  There will be no visitation.  Per her request, a funeral mass will be held at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer in Corner Brook at 10:00 am on Friday October 24, 2025.  Following the mass, her cremated remains will be placed with her Mother and Father at R.C. Cemetery in Townsite, Corner Brook.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the SPCA or Scaredy Cat Rescue in aid of the spay and neuter program for abandoned and rescued animals.
