It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Roy Leslie Butt announce his passing on Monday, September 15th at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville at the age of 87. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children:  Darcy ( Rhona), Leslie (David), Anthony ( Sandy), Eileen (Bradley), Andrew (Lori ), Sterling (Jeannie); grandchildren:  Karen (Shawn), Crystal Lee (Evan), April (Grant), Scottie (Amanda), Elise (Jeff), Tylor (Tara) and Ryan; great-grandchildren: Cheyenne, Cierra, Dallas, Jacob, Owen, Marshall, Griffin, Conner, Owden, Mason, Avagrace, Leighara; sisters:  Martha, Florence, Eileen; brothers-in-law:  Nelson, Wade; sisters-in-law:  Valerie and many others nieces, nephews, relatives and Heatherton community  friends.

He was predeceased by wife Mary Margaret; grandson Stephen Butt; parents: Gideon and Gertrude; brothers: Ralph, George and by his sister Emma Butt.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 20th at 2:00 p.m. at the United Church, Heatherton with Rev. William Matchem officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heatherton United Church.

The family would like to say thank you to the staff at Jeffrey’s Medical Clinic.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 37 West Street, Stephenville Crossing. The family guestbook may be signed at www.fillatre.ca
