Obituary of Maxine Winnifred House

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxine Winnifred House, announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on September 18, 2025 at the age of 82 years.

 She leaves to mourn with loving and fond memories, her family: Peggy (Connie), Kim (Sam), Lori (Reg), Shelley (Rick), Vicki (Leon), Tracy (Brad), Justin (Angie), Casey (Daphne), Lucas (Janice), Lacey (Andy), Tyler (Harry, Mike), Brittany (Jasper), Taylor, Meghan (Stephen), Cameron, Cole, Hunter, Remington, Phoebe, Lance and Ruby. Siblings: Raymond (Mercedes), Frances (Bert), In-laws: Avril Brake, Milton House, Elwood Tucker and Larry Wickens.

Predeceased by her loving husband Albert, sons-in-law: John House and Greg Borden, parents: Maude and Francis Brake, Parents-in-law:  Leslie and Stella House, Siblings: Reginald (Shirley), Gwendolyn (Richard), Mona (Owen), Clifton, Noble (Mary), Roland (Molly), George, Claudia, Rouse, In-laws: Eliza (Gord), Laura, Rowena and Neila, Niece: Jeanette Brake and close friend Lena Bolt.

Maxine will be missed by a large circle of relatives and friends, also by her furry companion Misty.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to aunt Mercedes for all the extra help and support to mom over the years as well as the nurses and doctors of the ICU at the Western Memorial Hospital for the excellent care that mom received.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Meadows on Friday, September 19^th from the hours of 7-9pm and on Saturday, September 20^th from the hours of 2-4pm. The funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Meadows on Sunday, September 21^st at 4:30pm.
