Kevin Maddigan
September 25, 1967 – September 23, 2025
With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin Maddigan, a man whose life was taken far too soon. Kevin lived every day with drive, determination, and a spirit that touched everyone who knew him. He worked hard, gave selflessly, and cared deeply, especially for his beautiful mother, Madeline Maddigan, whom he adored and looked after with all his heart.
Kevin is welcomed into heaven by his father, Peter Maddigan, and his dear cousin, Bradley McCarthy, whom he loved deeply and grieved for in life. Now they are reunited, side by side.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Madeline Maddigan; his two sisters, Darlene (Darren Compagnon) and Rachel (Derrick Costello) his two beloved sons, Andrew Quilty, Colton Pottle and CJ Pottle who he loved and cared for deeply and always thought of him as his own; and his cherished granddaughter, Hailey, who brought him endless pride and joy. He also held a special place in his heart for Melinda Duffney and Kayden, whom he loved and protected.
Kevin was blessed with a lifelong friendship with Cyril Stewart, the brother he never had, and the friend he always needed. Their bond was unbreakable and a testament to true friendship.
Kevin was a father, a grandfather, a son, a brother, an uncle, and a friend, but above all, he was Kevin. He lived each day to work hard, to get ahead, and to simply be himself. Those who knew him will forever remember his laughter, his kindness, and his unshakable spirit.
Fly high, Kevin. You are and always will be loved beyond words, missed beyond measure, and remembered forever.
As per Kevin's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral services at this time. A celebration of Kevin's life will be held at the Humber Arm South Town Hall, Community Room on Friday, October 3 from 2:00PM-6PM. Donations may be made to the Xhavier House or Our Lady Star of the Sea in Kevin's Memory
