It is with great sadness that the family of the late Livenia Pinksen announce her peaceful passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at the age of 89.

She leaves to mourn with precious and loving memories her children:  Jerry (Janice), May (Rex), Eddy (Terri), Judy (Bill), Jason; grandchildren:  Trevor, Cheryl, Marsha, Lesley, Crystal (David), Suzanne (Tyler), Travis (Vanessa), Brianna (Matthew), LeDawn (Jeff), Bradley; great-grandchildren:  Alissa, Abigail, Elly, Ryan, Asher, Lincoln, Logan, Emily, Alisha, Marshall, Kennedy, Claire; great-great-grandchildren:  Atticus, Arthur; siblings:  Violet, Rita, George (Gloria), Marjorie (Wilf), Ron (Sharon), Ruby (Wyatt), Cal (Maria), Karen, James (Carololyn); daughter-in-law Judy Rotchford  as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Livenia was predeceased by her husband Ronald Pinksen; son David; parents George and Annie Bradley; siblings:  Malabeam (Edward), Fern (Clarence); brothers-in-law Johnny Cave and Gord Matchim, baby sister Margaret, infant baby brother.

She was a kind and good-hearted person who loved her family and friends dearly.  Always ready with a helping hand or a warm smile, she welcomed everyone with generosity and grace.  Whether it was a home-cooked meal or a cup of tea, she made those around her feel cared for.  She found joy in the simple things – knitting, crafting, cooking, baking, and listening to her beloved gospel music.  Her days were guided by her faith, and she never missed her daily Bible readings, drawing strength and peace from her spirituality.

Visitation will take place at Zion Pentecostal Church, 51 Carolina Ave., Stephenville, NL on Monday, September 29, 2025 between 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Darren Sacrey officiating.  Interment will take place following the service at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Zion Pentecostal Church at zionstephenville@gmail.com.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the 4th floor staff at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home for their love and care during her stay.

As she would often say

“Love ya and God Bless”
