Todd Michael Dominey

October 8, 1969 - September 23, 2025

Burgeo, NL 

It is with broken hearts that the family of Todd Michael Dominey announce his sudden and tragic passing on September 23, 2025 at the age of 55 years old. 

Todd leaves to mourn his devoted partner of 37 years, Gloria Anderson. Son Mason (Marissa), daughter Tara (Mitch) and his absolute pride and joy; grandson(pops little buddy) Nolan. Mother; Elizabeth, brothers; Bill(Nina) and Clyde (Evan). Sisters, Sandra and Diane (Sam). As well as mother “in-law”, Elizabeth Anderson. Brothers “in-law” Junior (Linda), Dave (Krista), and Shawn (Rachel). Sisters “in-law” Rena (Dave), Harriett (Joe) and Diane (Dorm). He will also be missed by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends; especially special friends Glen, Laura, Ross and Bethann.

He was predeceased by his Father Clayton, brothers Brian and Terry, sister Tracey, Father “in-law” Stanley Anderson, brother in law Jeffrey Earle and brother “in-law” Brian Meade.

Todd walked around with the biggest smile that could light up the darkest of rooms. If you knew him, you were definitely tormented by him at some point. He always had a chuckle and he loved to make others laugh and smile too.

Right up until the birth of his grandson, he was happiest when he was at the firehall with his “second family”. As proud as he was to be a dad and grandfather,  he was the most proud to be called a fire fighter. His weeks revolved around Thursday night drills with his fire buddies. 

Todd fought many medical battles in his short life and he over came every single one. His strength and courage could move mountains. 

His family asks instead of flowers, you think of him on a warm summer night while you’re sat around a campfire. Think of him when you’re driving as that was his job and one of his favorite things to do. Think of him when you’re simply just sitting with your family and laughing. 

To know Todd, was to love Todd.

A viewing for family and close friends will take place Friday, September 26th at 2pm at 218 Curling Street in Corner Brook. Cremation has taken place. The funeral will be held on Sunday, September 28th at 1:00 pm from St. John the Evangelist  Anglican Church in Burgeo.
