November 6, 1939.- October 3, 2025
Mr. Lawrence Rumbolt (Genneaux), age 85, of Castor River South, passed peacefully away on Friday, October 3rd, 2025 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Care Centre surrounded by family.
Lawrence was a family man. In his younger years he was a lobster fisherman, providing a source of income to support his devoted wife and family. He enjoyed being surrounded by them especially during mealtime. His favorite hobby was salmon fishing at which he would spend hours perfecting the sport. Lawrence was a very kind person with a caring heart. He will be forever misssed.
He is survived by wife of 63 years, Rebecca; four daughters: Marie (Finton), Wanda (Scott), Denise (Nicholas), Clarise (Frazer); two sons: Tony (Grace) and Michael (Sophia); seven grandchildren: Deborah (Damian), Trevor (Chelsea), Stephanie (Morgan), Mandy (Shawn), Travis (Brandi), Kayla, Maddison (Jordan); eleven great-grandchildren: Payton, Isaiah, Aiden, Leah, Wyatt, Kayden, Ryan, Cole, Lilly, Jaxon and Lincoln; only sister Bridgette; three brothers: Clifford, Frank and Kevin.
Lawrence is predeceased by parents, Lawrence and Jane Genneaux; brothers: Ralph, Arthur, John; sister Dulcie; parents-in-law John and Amy Doyle; brothers-in-law Don and Aidrian; sisters-in-law; Eileen and MaryAnn; nephews: Ralph Jr, Frank Jr, Richard and Albert.
Cremation has taken place.
Family Setvice Tuesday, October 7th @ 7pm at Queen of the Angels Roman Catholic Church, Castor River South, NL.
A Funeral Service will be held at a later date.
