Teresa Mary Gash-Wall

May 13, 1927 - October 5, 2025

It is with great love and heavy hearts that we, the family of the late Teresa Mary Gash-Wall, of Corner Brook, announce her passing in the early hours on October 5, 2025 in Corner Brook Long Term Care at the tremendous age of 98.

Teresa was the very definition of independent, she worked her whole life and retired at The Western Star. Teresa had one child, Rick, who was her whole world until his unfortunate passing. She was also a woman of very strong faith and spent decades part of the church as a sacristan, washing linens and switching out the flowers, Teresa was an avid gardener in her spare time and loved flowers, she also loved fishing, swimming and traveling. Teresa always had a smile on her face and was always pleasant, even in her recent years.  

Teresa leaves to mourn: her brother Father Joe Gash, favorite nieces, Carol (Bill) Elford, Marie (Karl) Adams, many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. 

Teresa was predeceased by: her pride and joy, her only child Richard. Parents Annie and Joseph Gash, sisters Marie and Susie, brothers James, Gus, Anthony and Timothy.

Visitation will take place Wednesday October 8th, 2025 2-4 and 7-9 at Fillatre's on St.Mark's Avenue.

Funeral will take place Thursday at 10 am at the Most Holy Redeemer of Immaculate Conception on Mount Bernard with interment following at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
