It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bonita King announce her passing on Wednesday, November 5^th at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville at the age of 64 years.

Bonnie was born and raised in St. Teresa’s from she where moved on to meet her husband Melvin and raised a family together in St. Fintan’s. She was a caring, beautiful, loving lady who always tried to keep her family happy, together. She always liked to joke with people and have her pick.

Bonnie went onto the arms of our Lord after having a great week of laughs, fun and picking with family and friends. She stayed strong until the end with no suffering and pain only the love of her family by her side. Bonnie will be missed by so many, everyone who met her loved her.

She leaves to mourn, her husband Melvin King ( Glenda Butler); daughters: Catherine( Florence), Lisa( Kenneth); sons: Brian, David ( Kelsey), and Glen; grandchildren: Leigh-Ann, Daniel, Kendra, Khloe, KJ, Kaiden, Erin, Jesse, Madison and Destiny; brothers: Richard(Jocelyn), Garfield (Sabina); sisters: Barb(Claude), Robin (Dwayne), Corrine, Dawn; and by her brother Nickum; special niece, Rebecca; fur baby, Daisy  along with many other nieces, nephews  relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Joe; father, Hilliard and Nickum; biological mother, Anita; brothers: Hillard, Brian, Gordy; grandbabies: Star Dawn, Melvin Jr. and Brian Jr.

Respecting Bonnie’s wishes cremation will take place.
