Obituary of Wilbur Patey
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilbur Patey announce his passing on November 6, 2025, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 85 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife: Loretta; his son: Jerry (Doris); grandchildren: Eric (Wendy), Marcus (Chelsea) and Michael (Brad); great-grandchildren: Landon, Mackenzie, Riley, Logan and Diana; brothers: Eric, Jerry, Dennis, Alvin and Larry along with their families; as well as a large circle of extended relatives and many friends.
Wilbur was predeceased by his parents: Herbert and Edith Patey; and sister: Effie.
Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay , NL on Friday, November 7th, 2025, from 7:00 – 9:00pm, Saturday, November 8th, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 9th, 2025, from the Salvation Army Church, starting at 2:00pm with Major Kay Barnes officiating. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army cemetery.
