February 11, 1950 - November 28, 2025
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mae King announce her passing on Friday, November 28, 2025 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 75 years.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Lisa (Darrell) and Robert (Tanya); grandchildren: Amber, Emily, Danika, Dana; great-grandchildren: Sebastian, Xander, Caileigh; her special sister Sherry, who devoted 26 years of her life to caring for Mae; special niece: Nadine and her daughter Ryley; brothers: Alvin (Maxine), George (Ina), Bill (Michelle), Darren (Shirley), Mike (Lena); sisters: Jean (Michelle), Roslyn (Angelo), Beatrice, Roxanne, Dale (Mike) as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mae was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Robert Keith; parents: Chesley and Alma Earle; parents-in-law: Dougal and Vera King; sisters: Linda Bryce and Doris Earle; niece: Jill Wellon; sister-in-law: Sharon Gardener; brothers-in-law: Clyde and James King; and her beloved dog: Milo.
Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday, December 2nd from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm, as well as on Wednesday, December 3rd from the hours of 2-4pm. The funeral service will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 beginning at 4:00pm.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation - Unit 4B.
