Wilson John
Of
Heatherton, NL
1952 – 2025
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wilson John Cramm announce his passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care, Stephenville Crossing on Sunday, November 30th at the age of 73 years.
Wilson was born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland to Arminius and Gladys Cramm, on June 27, 1952.
He could always be found exactly where help was needed. If there was a chore to do or a task that would lighten his mother’s load, he was already there, hands ready, smile warm, and heart willing. Service was never an obligation to Wilson—it was who he was. He found purpose in helping and joy in knowing he had made someone’s day a little easier.
His faith and his church were a big part of his life.
Wilson began working at a young age through the Bay St. George Community Employment Cooperation, and he truly loved to work. His most cherished role was his more than 20 years working in the cafeteria at E.A. Butler All Grade. There, he found not just work, but fulfilment, friendship, and love. His coworkers became family, and the students from kindergarten to Grade 12 held a special place in his heart. They loved him in return.
He leaves to mourn his sisters, Jessie (Norman Butt), Shirley (Leo Anderson), and his brothers, George (Sheila), Issac (Violet), Pleman (Carmel), Terry (Lynn), Larry, & Kevin, as well as a large circle of relatives, nieces and nephews, family & friends.
Wilson was predeceased by his brother Doug, his sister-in-law, Patsy, brother Calvin, Sister Lorraine and his loving parents Arminius and Gladys Cramm.
A funeral service will be held at Heatherton United Church Thursday, December 4th at 11:00am with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Wilson to Heatherton United Church.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Bay St. George Long Term Care for their compassion and care during the later years of Wilson’s life.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 37 West Street, Stephenville Crossing.
Though our hearts ache with his absence, we hold tightly to the hope and truth Wilson believed in so deeply. This is not goodbye forever—only goodbye for now. We take comfort in knowing he has gone home to the Lord, reunited with loved ones, whole, joyful, and at peace.
Forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
