Robbie Gerald Butt
June 15, 1971 – December 13, 2025
It is with immense sorrow and profound heartbreak that the family of Robbie Gerald Butt announce his sudden passing on December 13, 2025, at his home. At the age of 54. Robbie was deeply loved by all his family.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories; his spouse Tonya, daughter Jenesta, fur baby Millie, his cousins that were more like brothers and sisters to him; Wade (Gertie), Ann (Doug), Terry (Carol), Jerry (Pat), Lisa (Paul). His in-laws; Kim (Jimmy), Lori, Glenda (Gordie and best friend), mother-in-law, Eva George, and his special niece Angela (Bradley). With many other family and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents Bram and Joan, Father-in-law Robert Cole, and his precious fur baby, Princess.
Robbie looked forward to spending time and enjoying his cabin at Valley Pond. He enjoyed tending to his gardens and interacting with his friends and family at Valley Pond.
Robbie inherited his mothers love for cooking and her baking skills. He often made many fruit cakes for his friends and family during the Christmas season. He enjoyed whipping up many meals and Newfie hors-d’oeuvres for his family on Christmas Eve.
Robbie and Tonya have been together for 34 years. During that time, they have endured a lot of good times and sickness together. Through it all, Tonya has been right by his side. Tonya’s presence and unlimited support was always a comfort to Robbie, and something that he needed each and every day. Tonya was definitely Robbie’s rock.
Jenesta was definitely Robbie’s pride and joy. Whenever Robbie spoke of Jenesta the whole room would light up. Jenesta and Robbie had a special bond; they were best friends and had such a unique relationship. Robbie was Jenesta’s biggest support and they were always by each other’s side.
He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Even though he endured so much sickness throughout the years, he was always so strong and had a big spirit and smile.
A visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Curling on Wednesday December 17, from 2:00PM – 4:00PM, and 7:00PM-9:00PM, and the funeral will take place on Thursday, December 18 at 2:00PM at Curling Memorial United Church with Rev. Tony Newell officiating with a burial at Mount Patricia to follow.
