Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Nuke

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Elizabeth Nuke-Obed announce her passing on December 15^th, 2025, at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 36 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband: Boas Obed; children: Patrick Nuke Jr, Selena Penunsi and Zoey Michelin; sisters: Katelyn Nuke, Patricia Nuke, Michelle Nuke; brother: Micheal Nuke; aunts and uncles: Mary Anne Montague, Antuan Nuke, Karen Rich, Francis Rich, Merlin Rich, and Shirley Rich; nieces and nephews: Priya, Chase, Tracey, Freedom, and Ava; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Mary was predeceased by her parents: Patrick and Betty Nuke; brothers: Joachim James Nuke and Ryan Nuke; aunts: Mary Dyke, and Tracey Rich; uncles: Micheal Nuke, and David Nuke; grandparents: Matthew and Germaine Rich and Ponas and Madeline Nuke.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18^th, 2025, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL.

A wake will take place on Friday, December 19^th, 2025, starting at 10:00 am at 12A McKenzie Drive, Sheshatshiu, NL.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20^th, 2025, starting at 11:00 am from the Roman Catholic Church, Sheshatshiu, NL with Father Joe officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
