December 13, 1965 – December 18, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share the sad news of the sudden and unexpected passing of Shawn Francis Young on December18, 2025 at the age of 60 years.

Shawn leaves to mourn with broken hearts his loving wife and soulmate, Kimberley Webb and cherished daughter Shauna Megan Webb, the centre of his world. He will be deeply  missed by his siblings Josephine (Junior) Jesso, Olive Young, Mark (Bridget) Young, Leroy (Lisa) Young,  Brenda (Joe) Vincent, Doris Young, John Young, Debbie (Donny) Elliott and Judy Young; his brothers and sisters-in-law; Ronnie (Darlene) Webb, Wayne (Julie) Webb, Gail (Jim) Duffett, Marina (Lorne) Clancey, Sandra (Dan) Young, Diane Young; mother-in-law Winnetta (Wanda) Webb and her friend George Pike; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers, especially Sherry Penney and Diane Banks; and his cats Chase and Ozzy.

He is predeceased by his mom Aloma Doris Young, siblings Joey, Jason, Paul, Becky and Maxine Young.

For those who knew Shawn, will never forget how much he and Kimberley loved being out to their trailer, sitting by the campfire and just enjoying their own special spot. Kimberley and Megan were the most important people in his life and he cherished them dearly. All who knew him know how kind and caring he was and he always had a big smile on his face. He will be sadly missed by everyone, but especially Kimberley and Megan.

In keeping with Shawn’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no funeral services. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations may be made to NL West SPCA or to the charity of one’s choice.
