Pat “Patrick” Callahan

January 23, 1948 – December 24, 2025

Corner Brook, NL

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Pat Callahan announces his sudden passing on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook. Pat was 77 years old.

Pat leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and love. He is survived by his wife, Rita; his two daughters, Kacey Perrett (Jason) and Terimarie Kempter (Sean); and two treasured grandchildren, Kyle Perrett (Jessica) and Alyssa Perrett. Pat will also be fondly remembered by his many four-legged furry grandkids. His absence will be felt by a wide circle of siblings, brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a multitude of friends.

Honouring Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at Fillatres Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, on Monday, December 29, between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Immediately following the visitation, a funeral service will be held in the Fillatres chapel at 11: am officiated by Father Lee Lainey. Interment will occur at a later date.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dick Rowsell, a dear friend who visited Pat and provided invaluable support. Special thanks are also offered to Father Ed Terry for administering last rites, as well as to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Cardiac Unit, Emergency, and Restorative Care at Western Memorial Hospital for their compassion and reassurance during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Corner Brook Baseball Association as a tribute to Pat’s memory.
