Obituary of Brenda Best

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Brenda Maude Best announce her passing on December 29th, 2025 at the Labrador Grenfell Heath Center, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, at the age of 58 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her Husband: Hector; Daughter: Chelsea; Grandchildren: Trey (Memma's doodle) and Lolah; Mother: Ann; Brothers: Brud and Trevor; Sisters: Flora, Joy, Clara, and Tammy; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Brenda is predeceased by her Father: Ray; Brother: Joe; Grandfather: Allan; Nan Dyson; and Uncles: Ches and Howard.

Friends and family may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Friday, January 2nd between the hours of 7:00pm-9:00pm.
Cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held on Friday, January 9th, at St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Happy Valley-Goose Bay beginning at 2:00pm, with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Labrador Grenfell Health for the extraordinary care over the years, Mom's favourite doctor, Dr. Duffley who always went above and beyond, and Kaely Marques, for always keeping her in high spirits.
