It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Patrick Farrell announce his passing on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 82 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 58 years Bessie (nee Hindy); children: Jacqueline Farrell and Shawn Farrell (Gennifer); grandchildren: Daniella, Julia, Jenna, Evan and Sydney; brothers: Ed, Stan and Brian; sisters Nellie, Millie and Patricia; brothers-in-law: Melvin, Bob and Norman; sister-in-law Doris; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John and Ann Farrell, parents-in-law Dan and Nina Hindy and sister-in-law Bernice.
Cremation has taken place, there will be no formal service at this time. Burial will take place in Codroy Valley at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
