It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sarah Madore announce her passing on Thursday, January 1st, 2026, at the age of 85 years. 

She leaves to mourn her sons: Sheldon (Cheryl) Madore, Corwyn (Sally) Madore; grandchildren: Kayla Ann Madore( Andrew), James Churchill Madore(Laura), Chase Churchill Madore; great grandson, Kason Madore; brothers: Robert Shears and Gerald Shears; sisters: Una McEachren and Cavell McEachren along with many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

Sarah was predeceased by her husband, Churchill Madore; parents: Edward Richard and Eva Alice Shears; sisters: Clara Gillam, Eva Madore; brothers: Edward Shears, Melvin Shears and Simon Shears.

Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 19th at 2:00pm from St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church ,St. Davids with Rev. Nancy Hulan officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican cemetery, Jeffery’s. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 37 West Street, Stephenville Crossing.
