Obituary of Marion Rosetta Kenny
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marion Rosetta Kenny announce her passing on January 2nd, 2026, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. Johns, NL at the age of 77 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her Son: Darrell Kenny; Daughter-in-law: Deanne Kenny; Grandchildren: Nicole & Zachary Kenny; Sister: Arlene Bird; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Marion is predeceased by her Parents: Valencia & Robert Bird; Brothers: Lewis & Michael Bird; Sister: Jean Wells; and Brother-in-law: Reginald Wells.
Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Wednesday, January 7th, between the hours of 7:00pm-9:00pm.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 8th from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay beginning at 2:00pm, with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to all the lovely ladies from her apartment complex and all her coworkers at the Terrington Co-op.
