Obituary of Calvin Allister Pardy

It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Calvin Pardy announce his peaceful passing on January 20, 2026, at the age of 64, at Labrador-Grenfell Health, surrounded by the love and presence of his family and close friends.

Calvin is lovingly remembered by his brothers, John and Bruce; his sisters, Louise, Hilda (Tone), Barbara, Bobbie (Alex), and Velma (Daren); and by his many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whose lives were deeply touched by him.

He was predeceased by his parents, Bessie and Edward Pardy; his sisters, Marie, Cynthia, and Pearl; and his brothers, Tom, Jim, Dave, and Jerry.

Calvin will be remembered as a man of genuine kindness and quiet strength, whose warmth and sense of humor brought comfort and joy to those around him. He had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued and understood, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His caring spirit and generous heart will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Calvin’s memory to the Cartwright Fire Brigade.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the nursing staff at Labrador-Grenfell Health for the compassionate and exceptional care provided to Calvin, particularly in his final days. They also wish to thank Pastor Penney, Pastor Russ, and Reverend Nellie for their spiritual guidance and comfort, and offer special thanks to Victoria Clarke for her kindness and support. The family is also deeply grateful to all who visited, provided comfort, shared kind words, or brought food during this difficult time; your thoughtfulness and support will always be remembered.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 7:00pm., followed by a ceremony on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 3:00pm., both at the Evangel Temple in Cartwright.
