Edith Leggo (nee Clark)
September 16, 1932 - January 23, 2026


It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edith Leggo announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the age of 93 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughter: Deborah Gosse (Scott), sons: Glenn (Sharon) and James Jr.; grandchildren: Dane, Jonathan, Nichole and Kelly; great-grandchildren: Ethan, Autumn Rain, Caroline, Aryan and Michael; sisters-in-law: Nellie and Carrie; special friend: Blanche Ruth, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Edith was predeceased by her husband James Leggo; son Gary; parents: Robert and Ester Clark; siblings: Sarah Reader, Emma Wellon, Abby Crocker, John Saunders; niece: Flossie Byrne, brothers-in-law: Russell (Bud) Leggo and Walter Lemessieur.

Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday, January 25, 2026 from the hours of 12-2pm. The funeral service will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday, January 25, 2026 beginning at 2:00pm with Rev. Cynthia Haines-Turner officiating. The interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Edith's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
