Obituary of Sandra Nuna

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sandra Nuna announce her passing on Saturday, January 24^th, 2026, at the Labrador Grenfell Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 58 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her Husband: Kevin Nuna; Children: Melissa, Mary Lou, Lizette, Mani Nishet, Jerome, Bobby, Jarvis, & Logan; Brothers: Allister, Jerome, Andrew, & Max; Sister: Edna; 20 Grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Sandra is predeceased by her Parents: Jerome & Lizette Pone; Children: Marc & Julianna; and Brother: Brian.

Family and friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Monday, January 26^th, between the hours of 7:00pm-9:00pm. A wake will be held on Tuesday, January 27^th at 12 Kasseuai St. in Sheshatshiu, beginning in the evening.

The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 28^th at the Roman Catholic Church in Sheshatshiu, beginning at 11:00am with Father Joe officiating. Internment to follow at the Sheshatshiu Roman Catholic Cemetery.
