Dorothy Madonna Pye
December 23, 1942 – January 31, 2026
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Dorothy Madonna Pye announce her sudden passing on January 31st, 2026, at the age of 83.
She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 61 years; Dougal, her daughter Michele (Erik), and sons: Reuben (Carrie) and Paul (Debbie).
She will be greatly missed by her brother Wayne (Glenis) and sister Christina (Wayne), brothers-in-law: Don (Maxine) and Ches, and sister-in-law Linda.
She was a proud nan to her grandchildren: Mckenzie, Ethan, Michael, Joshua, Shelby, Philip, and her six great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her endless joy.
She was predeceased by her mother Mildred Pye, Father Cyril Pye, father-in-law Reuben, mother-in-law Florence, sister Judy (Gordon), brothers in law: Stan (Elva) and Aubrey, sisters in law: Shirley and Edith.
She was a proud member of her Church; a long-standing member of the ACW and was involved in Scouts Canada for over 20 years.
She was a quiet soul with a big heart who always thought of others first.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Wednesday, February 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 at Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Curling. A funeral service will follow on Thursday, February 5th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 457 Curling Street. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
