Charlotte was born in Daniel’s Harbour to Harrison (Harry) and Leona Wentzell (Payne) on November 14, 1933. She grew up in Portland Creek. She and her husband Charlie, had two sons who were blessed to be raised in a home surrounded by hard work, thoughtfulness, love and humour.

In lieu of donations, take a loved one(s) to dinner, hold their hand and laugh so much others notice the love you share.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the dedicated staff at both the Intensive Care and the Palliative Care units of Western Health, Corner Brook, and to the staff at Mountain View House, Meadows.

Charlotte will be remembered among her friends for her homemade bread & jam and her knitted socks & mitts. She will be remembered by her sons for her devotion, compassion, bravery, love and sense of humour … and by a certain black bear for her rudeness.
