It is with great sadness that the family of the late Matthew Tshenish Mike Rich announce his passing on February 13th, 2026, in Natuashish, NL at the age of 24 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his Parents: Emma Rich & Mike Gregoire; Daughter: Edith Tshakapesh; Brothers: Jamal, Lorne, Austin, Trevor, & Joel; Sisters: Anne Philomena, Sabrina, Charity, & Bertha; Grandparents: Marie Kateri Rich & Suzanne Rich; as well as many aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

Matthew is predeceased by his Brother: Anthony; Sister: Betty; and Grandparents: Patrick Rich & Joseph Mark Gregoire.

Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Friday, February 20th between the hours of 12:00-2:00pm.

A funeral service will be held from the Roman Catholic Church in Natuashish on Saturday, February 21st with Father Praveen Thomas officiating
