Passed peacefully away at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Friday, February 27th, 2026 David Percie Grant in his 77th year.
He was predeceased by his parents William and Frances (LeMessurier) Grant. Survived by brothers Doug (Roz) and Gord (Karen); niece Kimberley; nephews Christopher, Doug, Stephen and families; aunts Cynthia Murley, Jean Bullen and Nellie LeMessurier and extended family.
Dave was born and raised in Curling where he lived life on his own terms and marched to his own drum. He was an avid reader and outdoorsman. A simple life but one he chose.
Dave was employed by the Corner Brook Fire Department where he worked for a number of years.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services.
The family wish to extend a very sincere thank you to Loretta and all the amazing staff at the Lohnes retirement home for all the wonderful, kind and caring support shown to Dave during his time there. You are all “Certainly the Best”!
