It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Bailey announce her passing on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s at the age of 91 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 61 years Gerald Bailey; granddaughter Jessica; great-grandchildren: Destiny, Nikita, Skye, Dylan and Bradley; sisters: Rachel Elliott, Priscilla Regular and Emily (Steve) Regular; brother Albert (Shirley) Thomas; sisters-in-law: Ann (Bern) Borden, Alice Kennedy and Betty (Albert) Pennell; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sons Wayne and Glen Bailey, parents Alexander and Harriotte Francis, sisters Jean Saunders and Joyce Normore.
Cremation has taken place, there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. Interment to be held at a later date.
