Sylvia Doris Osmond

September 14, 1947 - March 2, 2026

It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Sylvia Doris Osmond née Goodyear announce her peaceful passing with her family by her side on Monday March 2, 2026

Leaving to mourn are her loving son Glenn (Janet) Osmond  and daughter Lori Osmond ; her two special nieces Deborah (David) Smyth and Alisa Goodyear (Geoffrey Askew), her stepdaughter Dana Osmond (Darlene Williams), her two nephews Alex (Shania) Goodyear and Brett (Allison) Goodyear; sister in law Audrey Goodyear; extended family members and also her best friend Kelly Brown. 

Sylvia was predeceased by her parents Wilson and Alice Goodyear, her brothers Ellis and Alexander Goodyear,  her stepson David Bryan Osmond and her husband David Osmond. 

Sylvia was born in Deer Lake September 14, 1947,  later moved to Corner Brook. She graduated college and went on to have a career in administration until she retired. She loved a good book, puzzle and a game of cards. Her next greatest love after her family were her cats. She didn’t have to own them to love them. 

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital  for the care and support they provided during this difficult time.
