CARD OF THANKS
We, the family of the late Sarah Jane Lewis, would like to express our sincere
appreciation and gratitude to everyonewho expressed their condolences
through visits, phone calls, cards, flowers, gifts of food, and messages of support.
Thank you to those who made donations to the West Coast SPCA in her name.
Thank you to the staff of Corner Brook Long Term Care, 3 South,
for the care provided to our mother during her stay there.
We would like to thank Laura and the staff of Fillatre's Funeral Home
for their professionalism, kindness, and compassion throughout this difficult time.

August 2, 1927 -March 5, 2026
On March 5, 2026 Jane Lewis passed peacefully away at the Western Long Term Care Home in her 99th year.
Jane was born in Jobs Cove to the late Noah & Emma Johnson. She moved to Corner Brook when she was 18 years old. She worked at Woolworth’s for 25 years.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Linda (John) Dennis, son Frank (Karen) Lewis and grandson Marc (Dee) Lewis, along with a large group of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Frank and sister Susie and brother-in-law Herb Lewis.
Jane loved to cook and knit, and especially loved being surrounded by her family. She was also an animal lover, she owned many over the years, and loved her great-grand kitties as well.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Long Term Care, 3 South, and her various home support workers for their support and care in her final years. Also Bernie for his many visits.
In keeping with Jane’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment and celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Jane’s memory can be made to the SPCA Corner Brook.
