It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tammy Quilty of St. David's, Newfoundland, born December 22, 1969, who passed away on March 24, 2026, at the age of 56 years. Tammy was a mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt and loved one who will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kendra; her cherished grandchildren, Scarlet, Caleb, and Nora, who brought her great joy; her devoted parents, Ronald and Glenda, her grandmother, Georgina; her loving sister, Kyla, and her treasured nephews, Parish, Matthew, and Ethan. She was predeceased by her brother, Parish. She was also survived by her husband of 32 years, Alan, with whom she shared much of her life and many memories. Tammy loved the Butterbrook beach, where she could relax and take in the beauty of the water. She had a creative spirit and enjoyed crafting, baking and gardening. She also loved spending time outdoors and time at the trailer park, making memories with those around her. Above all, she cherished time with her grandchildren, who meant the world to her. Throughout her life, Tammy faced personal struggles, and those who loved her always held onto hope for healing, peace, and brighter days ahead. We all wish things could have been different. Tammy was deeply cared for, and that hope and love remained constant. She will be remembered for her presence in the lives of her family, those moments shared together will not be forgotten. A celebration of life for Tammy will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to St. Columcille Roman Catholic Church, St. Fintan’s.
