Obituary of Martin Lloyd Humber

Martin Lloyd Humber passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 64 years Effie (Rowe); sons: Paul (Vicky) Humber and Mark Humber; grandchildren: Jamie (Andrea) Humber, Holly (Rob) Parsons, Erin Humber and Morgan (Brandon) Mercer; great-grandchildren: Samuel and Maxwell Humber, Maia and Kaleb Parsons and Alex Mercer; 5 sisters and brother Randy (Debbie) Humber; sisters and brother-in-law: Audrey Butler, Isreal (Denise) Rowe, Ada Rowe and Dave (Christine) Rowe; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Hebbert and Margaret Humber, parents-in-law Allister and Lillian Rowe, brothers and sister in law Louis Rowe, Ivy (Russell) Hand and Cyril Butler.

Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will take place Saturday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m. from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cathedral, Main Street with The Very Rev. Catherine Short officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Niche Wall. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Steeple Fund.
