Mary Alice Piercey

May 6, 1937 – March 30, 2026

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Piercey announce her passing on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 88 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters;  Kathleen Keeping (Ivan), Louise Piercey (Rodney), Sandra Ingram (Neil), Paula Piercey (Paul);  sons George Piercey (Wendy), Russell Piercey (Beverly), David Piercey (Joyce),  Richard Piercey (Christine), Darwin Pirecey (Krista); sisters, Eva Piercey, Thanie Langdon, Stella Fudge (Jerry), and Evelyn Keeping;  brothers Nathan Fudge (Shirley) and Jessie Fudge (Emily); 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Predeceased by her husband Joe Piercey; parents Effie and Bobby Fudge, sister Dolly Cooper; parents-in-law George and Elizabeth Piecey and brother-in-law Bill Lilly

Granting her wishes, cremation has taken place with services at a later date.

The Magic of a Mother’s Touch

There’s magic in a Mother’s touch,

And sunshine in her smile.

There’s love in everything she does

To make our lives worthwhile.

We can find both hope and courage

Just by looking in her eyes.

Her laughter is a source of joy,

Her words are warm and wise.

There is a kindness and

compassion to be found

in her embrace, and we see

the light of heaven shining

from a Mother’s face.
