Obituary of Phillip Morris

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Phillip Stanford Morris announce his passing on April 9^th, 2026, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, at the age of 77 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his special companion: Ruth; his children: Chris (Anitra), Aiesha (Allan), and David; grandchildren: Chandel, Zachary, Kristin, Stewart, and Nathan; great grandchildren: Logan and Keegan; brother: Herb; sister: Hilda; as well as many other extended relatives and friends.

Phillip was predeceased by his wife: Cathy; parents: Marie and Warren; and siblings: Gordie (Lorraine), Doreen, Dave, Kathy, Nita, Bob and Elsie.

Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Monday, April 13^th, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm for family only, and 7:00 – 9:00 pm for the public.

The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 14^th, 2026, from the Happy Valley United Church starting at 2:00 pm with Rev Alice Moores officiating. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the United Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
