With great love and gratitude for a life well lived, the family of Adelaide (Addie) Elizabeth Hatcher (nee Beck) announce her passing on April 11, 2026, at the Western MemorialRegional Hospital in Corner Brook.

Her commitment to service extended beyond her professional life. Addie was a dedicated volunteer with the Anglican Church Women for sixty-five years, the Canadian Red Cross for fifty-five years and the Royal Canadian Legion for twenty years. Her life was a true reflection of service to others and unwavering faith.

In her quieter moments, Addie found great joy alongside Gord at their beloved retreat on Lloyd’s River. There, they spend countless happy hours canoeing, hiking, and sharing a love of the outdoors, including hunting. Addie was also an avid gardener, taking pride in nurturing her flowers and vegetables, which she generously shared with family and friends.

Addie will be remembered for her love of family, her wonderful cooking, her gentle spirit, her steadfast faith, and her lifelong dedication to helping others during her years in Ramea and Pasadena.

Called home to tend God’s garden, she leaves behind a legacy that will continue to grow in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
