It is with great sadness that the family of the late Florence Baldwin announce her passing on Monday, April 13^th, 2026, at Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit.

She will be deeply missed by her two daughters Sandra Combdon (Herbert Connolly) and Marlene (Douglas) Wells; grandchildren Keith Combdon (Rhodina Young), Darryl (Lori) Combdon, Nathan Wells (Tanisha Thomas), Nikki Wells (Alroy Sanderson), and Nikita Wells (Marcus Tarbett); great-grandchildren Rebecca (Michael), Andrea (Jeremy), Annie, Scott (Perla), Jake, and Ava; great-great grandchildren Ellie, Addison, Blake, and Darci; sisters-in-law Jessie (Douglas) Osmond and Edna Baldwin. Also, a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Florence was predeceased by her beloved spouse of 65 years, Willis Baldwin, with whom she built a lifetime of beautiful memories, laughter, and an unbreakable bond; an infant son; her grandson James Combdon; parents Walter and Marjorie Hounsell; parents-in-law William and Dulcie Baldwin; stepfather in-law George Rice; siblings Walter (Jean) Hounsell, Richard (Violet) Hounsell, Lillian (Frederick) Oake, Claudine (Gerald) Gillingham, and special family member Noah Cassell; siblings in-law Carrie (William) Squires, Hayward (Alice) Baldwin, Frank (Olive) Baldwin, George Baldwin, Baby Manuel Baldwin; and granddaughter in-law Lisa Ricketts.

Visitation will take place at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Jackson’s Arm on Friday, April 17^th, 2026, from 2 – 4 PM and 7 – 9 PM. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 18^th, 2026, at St. Bartholomew’s at 2 PM with Rev. Denford officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot in Jackson’s Arm.
