It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Jourdain announce his passing on April 14th, 2026, at his home in Sheshatshiu, NL at the age of 49 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Etyana, Faith, Angel, Patrick, Spencer, Pako, and Jeremiah; brothers: Eugene and Gilbert; sisters: Melissa and Marcelle; grandchildren: Amber, Maniaten, Sienna, Parker, and Denver; and mother: Elizabeth; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

George was predeceased by his father: Willy Jourdain and brother: Patrick.

Visitations will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026, from the Roman Catholic Church, Sheshatshiu, starting at 11:00 am with Father Joe officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery
