April 13, 1946 – April 28, 2026

It is with great sadness tat the family of the late Wilfred Pink Childs announce his passing on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at his home residence in Burgeo, at the age of 80 years.

Wilfred leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his siblings Maude, Robert (Betty), Adolphus (Katie), sister and brother in laws; Alma, Louise (Calvin), Mary, special sister-in-law Melinda (Douglas), Freeman, Richard (Eileen) George and John. As well as a a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife Annie, parents Robert and Ida Childs, sister Una (Maxwell),adopted brother Wallace,sister and brother in laws Edith, Hilda, Brenda, Albert Anderson, Stanley, Albert Ricketts, parents in law Jacob and Mable Anderson.

Visitation will take place on Thursday April 30^th at St. John the Evangelist Church, Burgeo from 2:00-4:00pm where the funeral service will take place on Friday May 1^st at 2:00pm with Rev. Brenda Strickland officiating. Interment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
