It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marion Buckle announce her passing on Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home at the age of 89 years.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Terry (Mary Ann), Danny (Wendy), Jackie (Harvey), Ed (Paula); grandchildren: Kyle, Robbie, TJ, Christina, Matthew, Danielle, Bradley, Devon, Leah, Lance, Tara, Jillian; great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Juliet, Dominic, Jordan, Emily, Nathan, Zoey, Bree-Ella, Claire and Nora; siblings: Patsy (Glen), Dave (Shirley), Joanne (Bern); sister-in-law: Isabelle Buckle, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marion was predeceased by her husband Edward Buckle; parents: Albert and Mary Neville; children: Cindy Buckle and Debbie Buckle; siblings: Albert, Lloyd and Kevin; parents-in-law: William and Mary Buckle; daughter-in-law: Huena; brothers-in-law: Kevin and George and sisters-in-law: Nel Kelly, Laura Penney, Mary Moulton, Joan and Marg Buckle.

Marion will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who dearly loved her family. She found great joy in life's simple pleasures, including bowling, playing bingo, picking berries, and tending to her flowers. She was deeply involved in her faith community at All Hallow Parish, where she served as President of the Parish Women's League and enjoyed many card games and gatherings at the church. Her warmth, kindness, and strong sense of community touched all who knew her.

We wish to thank the staff of the Corner Brook Long Term Care, 4 South for their care and compassion for mom during her time as a resident.

Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 from the hours of 1-3 and 5-7pm. A funeral service will be held at All Hallows Parish, Humber Road on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 10:00am with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
